The Most Effective Missionaries Always Act Out of Love

"We can depend on that unfailing desire of the Savior to bring all of Heavenly Father's spirit children back to their home with Him. Every faithful parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent shares in that desire. Heavenly Father and the Savior are our perfect examples of what we can and must do. They never force righteousness because righteousness must be chosen. They make righteousness discernible to us, and they let us see that its fruits are delicious."
-President Henry B. Eyring-

All the preparations of getting drivers licenses, filling out forms, getting to know one another, receiving their first assignments and companions - It's a big day.
The office staff fixed a beautiful lunch and warmly welcomed everyone. Learning the rules and receiving training on driving (On the left side of the road), getting their visas, how to deal with health needs, adjusting to missionary live. Everyone jumps right in with eager enthusiasm.

Understanding English spoken with all different kinds of accents is similar to learning a new language even if you do speak English - much harder for those who don't.
With more sisters than elders on this intake they get the room with the view at the mission home. We certainly have a beautiful forest in the backyard. We see the Tui and hear his call along with the Fantail.
Some of our best singers have finished their missions!
Look at this wonderful feast in honor of service well done!

We Are All Enlisted

"The world is in need of our help. Are we doing all we should? do we remember the words of President John Taylor: 'If you do not magnify your callings, God will hold you responsible for those whom you might have saved had you done your duty.' There are feet to steady, hands to grasp, minds to encourage, hearts to inspire, and souls to save. The blessings of eternity await you. Yours is the privilege to be not spectators but participants on the stage of . . . service."
-President Thomas S. Monson-

Another beautiful Cathedral.
Just like New Zealand - more clock towers.
We took a quick walk before the seminar began and saw all these Scouts (maybe cub scouts).
We'd never seen a tree like this. Does anyone from Australia know what it is?

Luckily we got to see Sister Wu on our short stay. This dear returned missionary even taught some of you missionaries in the MTC in Hamilton. Now she is finishing up school in Brisbane.
