Our Beautiful Mission

 Hollywood has nothing on us.
Elder DeGraw and Elder Kitekeiaho return home.
President Kezerian with Elder and Sister Meurs at the Dunedin District Conference.
When we arrived at the Queenstown Airport Elder Flakemore and Elder Tago were there to meet us. The beauty of the area was amazing
The Remarkables, a mountain range in Otago located on the southern shore of Lake Wakatipu, allegedly received their name because they are one of the two mountain ranges in the world that run directly north to south.
An alternate explanation for the name given by locals is that early Queenstown settlers, upon seeing the mountain range during sunset one evening, named them the Remarkables to describe the sight.
Now this is finding at it's best. President Kezerian enjoys this kind of missionary work.
The Elders have an amazing view of the area from their flat. We may need to change the location of the mission home.

New Arrivals

Sister Tito, Sister Cameron and Sister Itaia became best of friends in the Auckland MTC.
Sister Tito, Elder Kaufusi and Elder Aiono
 Relaxing in the mission home.

Elder Kaumavae arrived a day later than everyone else since he came from the MTC in Provo where he learned to speak English beautifully in only 3 weeks. This really is the work of the Lord.

One more picture from Elder and Sister Watson's visit.
In Dunedin they even have a street sign pointing the way to our chapel. We were so impressed. We wondered how the missionaries arranged for that one.

The Christchurch Zone after a big meal.
Elder Segi, Elder Haiane, Elder Kim and Elder Palupe all have amazing voices. We need to get them recorded.
When we were at the last Southland Zone Conference Elder Nelson (The Utah Fan) was wearing a red tie. I teased him that I was going to get him a blue tie. When we arrived for interviews with the Southland Zone this month and entered the Chapel we noticed all the Elders and Sisters were wearing red. Amazingly I was even wearing red and I wasn't even in on it. Only President Kezerian didn't have any red on so Elder Nelson kindly brought him a red tie to wear so he wouldn't feel out of place.

We all appreciated the opportunity to receive instruction from Elder and Sister Watson before they continued onto another assignment. Previous to their assignment to the Pacific Area Presidency they served three years in the Area Presidency in Africa. Elder Watson took the following pictures during our tour.
